Let me introduce you to a new composer of piano music: Fabian Timothy Vermeirsch. His music style is blue, tender and calm. He composed a series of 5 beautiful piano works that can be performed as one: DUALITY, RUNNING OUT OF TIME, SPRING WATER, OPENING UP and OVERWHELMING. RUNNING OUT OF TIME sounds deeply melancholic. There are many sharp harmonies between the left hand and the right hand. The right hand also often contains a beautiful, but plaintive melody that never settles down and suddenly turns back into swaying but violent passages. In this piano work there is a constant movement like an hourglass. This work has something oppressive about it.
