FIVE SUMMER DRINKS

After you have played book 8 from the TWO & MORE series, you are ready for ‘FIVE SUMMER DRINKS’. This album features 5 beautiful duets for 2 pianists.
1.BITTER LOVER is a melancholic piano duet. Here the challenge for the 2 pianists is to play the different motifs very nicely in a question and answer game between the different voices. Therefore, make a nice balance between the different voices. Be sure not to play the sixteenth notes too hastily.
2.P.S. TI AMO is romantic in style. The challenge here for the two pianists is to play with a beautiful, warm legato sound and to build and lay down the musical phrases beautifully together. 3.MARGARITA is another melancholic piano duet. It is in the measure 6/8. The melody and accompaniment are alternately in the first and second voices. Therefore, be sure to balance the melody, bass and rhythmic accompaniment. This is a longer piano duet, so make sure to have a nice tension curve throughout the piece as well.
4.DARK N’ STORMY is a cool piano piece. It has both melodic and rhythmic challenges. Make beautiful musical phrases together and create contrasts in mood and dynamics. It is certainly not easy to play the triplets of eighth notes and the regular eighth notes together. The sixteenth notes should also be played accurately. Feel the beat together and all will be well!
5.MANGO PEACH SANGRIA is a lovely piano piece to play together. Here the challenge for the two pianists is to create a nice balance between the melody, bass and intermediate voices. Play the musical phrases and motifs beautifully. Also bring variety in mood and in dynamics.
Good Luck!
